SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The SAMO Boys varsity volleyball team finished their second preseason game against Wiseburn Da Vinci. Unfortunately, the Vikings didn’t achieve the result they had hoped for as they lost three consecutive sets to the guys from Da Vinci.
The SAMO Boys were unable to find their synchronicity until the final set which they led most of the time. It wasn’t until the last few points that Da Vinci was able to take the lead and defeat SAMO.
Samo and Da Vinchi will meet again during the regular season. WATCH the VOD of the earlier match below.
Santa Monica will play in the Redondo Beach Invitational Friday and Saturday. On Monday, February 26, 2024, will play against Beverly Hills at home.

Santa Monica Boys Volleyball will play their second game of the pre-season tonight against Wiseburn Da Vinci.
Last night the Vikings handily defeated Torrance Tartars in three quick sets. The Da Vinci team might be something else as they have several players that are well known in the SoCal volleyball world.
The Vikings have a few seasoned players of their own and should be able to hold their own.
Last year, Da Vinci defeated SAMO during the regular season.
