VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Skateboarders from all around the world rolled into Virginia Beach yesterday in hopes of winning the Jackalope Vertical Ramp Skateboard competition that will take place over the weekend in this historical city.
Bob Burnquist and Collin Graham are two of the world renowned skaters who are going to participate in the event. The Vertical Competition will start later today with the skaters taking to the ramp to compete for the Best Trick category.
Tomorrow, the real fun of the event begins when Highline racers will compete against one another at approximately 100′ in the air. The street ramp competition takes place, and the Base Jumpers are going to soar off the top of a the Hilton Hotel.
The Vertical Ramp competition warms-up tomorrow in the early afternoon. But the competition really begins at 5:45 pm EDT with the Recap of the Best Trick.
